The Village of Shiloh was in need of a mechanism to fund mine subsidence remediation for the highly successful Green Mount Shopping Center. The Green Mount Business District was adopted to assist both the Village and the developers in efforts to mitigate the damage to property caused by the undermining throughout the area.
